MacDelta

Privacy, in plain language.

Updated September 6, 2026 · MacDelta 1.0.0

Your observations stay on your Mac.

MacDelta has no account, cloud sync, advertising or telemetry. It does not send your observed history to Mixout Technologies Private Limited.

What the app records

Application names, versions, identifiers and paths; readable startup definitions; available space; selected folder sizes and measurement metadata; Trash size and item counts; saved snapshots; imported installation records; observed macOS versions/builds; capture gaps; sleep/wake notifications; network-path availability and interface types; Wi-Fi link changes; Bluetooth radio on/off and supported paired-device names and connection events; internal-battery percentage, power source and charging status; and effective Low Power Mode changes received while running.

MacDelta inspects metadata and relevant application/service configuration files, not the contents of your personal documents. Full Disk Access is broader than the app’s observation scope; MacDelta limits its collectors to configured observations and monitored folders.

Networking and battery history are enabled by default and can be disabled in Settings. Bluetooth requires macOS permission. Wi-Fi names, IP addresses, browsing history, traffic contents, and Bluetooth hardware addresses are not saved. The app does not scan for nearby Bluetooth devices or control charging.

Exports

Export History saves a CSV or JSON file to a location you choose. Paths and Bluetooth device names are included by default; you can switch them off before exporting. Exports can reveal usernames, application names and device names. They leave your Mac only if you share them or save them to a synced location.

Retention and your choices

Ordinary history has count limits. Named snapshots retain their metadata independently. You can stop monitoring a folder or quit the app at any time. Uninstalling the application alone may leave local Application Support data.

Website analytics

When configured, this website offers optional Google Analytics to measure page visits, referring websites, device/browser information, interest in downloads and interactions with the demo. It loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Choosing No thanks sends no analytics data to Google.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish visits. We set a 90-day cookie lifetime and disable advertising personalization and Google signals. Google processes connection information to provide its analytics service; processing may occur outside your country. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

We do not send your demo search text, snapshot names, exported data, email address, or desktop app history to analytics. The interactive demo contains fictional data. Website analytics is separate from the MacDelta app, which has no telemetry.

Use Analytics preferences to change your choice whenever analytics is enabled. Your choice is saved in this browser. Withdrawing consent stops collection and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase reports already collected.

Hosting and contact

Our website hosting providers process technical request data such as IP addresses, browser details and request times to deliver and protect the site. They may set essential security cookies for abuse prevention. We do not use this information for advertising.

Checkout is not yet enabled. When purchasing is introduced, payment processing and purchase measurement will be described here before activation. Email links open your email app and send nothing until you choose to send. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the details you include. Our email provider processes these messages, and we retain them as needed to handle your request. Contact us to request deletion, subject to records we must legally retain.
